Kuopio service location moves – customer service closed 16–20 March 2026

The customer service of the Kuopio service location will move to new facilities. Because of this, the customer service will be closed during 16–20 March 2026. The customer service will be normally available in the new facilities starting on Wednesday 25 March 2026. The new facilities are located in the same building as the old ones, so the address of the service location will not change.

The customer service location and the marriage ceremony premises in Kuopio will operate in temporary facilities from Wednesday 25 March 2026 due to renovations. The renovation project is expected to end in spring 2027, at which point the services will return to the renovated facilities.

The temporary facilities are located in the same building as the current facilities. As such, the street address of the service location remains the same as before (Kallanranta 11, 70100 KUOPIO).

How does the move affect customers?

Because of the move to the temporary facilities, the customer service will be closed during 16–20 March 2026. From Wednesday 25 March 2026, the customer service will operate normally at the new temporary facilities.

How do I enter the new facilities?

The temporary facilities of the customer service are located in the same building as the current facilities. Access is through the courtyard.

The easiest way to find the entrance is from the Sepänkatu street side. There will be signs that point to the entrance.

A Suomi-piste service point is being built

The renovation project will prepare the facilities for the opening of the Suomi-piste service point in Kuopio in 2027. At the Suomi-piste service points, customers can access multiple official services in one place.
