Digital support providers – arrange a remote viewing of the webinar “Acting on behalf of someone else in OmaKanta and Suomi.fi Messages” on 9 October 2026

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency will host a webinar on 9 October 2026 from 11:00 to 12:30. In the webinar, we will go through how to handle matters on behalf of another person in digital services using Suomi.fi authorisations. Suomi.fi authorisations are an electronic mandate that allows you to act on behalf of someone else in public digital services, such as OmaKanta.

​​​​​​​We encourage all libraries, organisations, educational institutions and other actors to arrange remote viewing sessions and invite their customers to join!

The webinar is intended for anyone who needs to act on behalf of another person in public digital services.

In the webinar, we will cover:

• What are Suomi.fi authorisations, how to create one and how to use it?
• How can OmaKanta be used on behalf of another person?
• How can digital official messages (Suomi.fi Messages) be used on behalf of another person?

The webinar link and instructions for asking questions will be sent to all registered participants no later than one week before the webinar. The webinar will be recorded, and the recording link will be sent to all registered participants.

The webinar is in Finnish and the recording will also include Swedish subtitles.
