Online phishing scam perpetrated in Kela’s name - contains a link that takes the user to a phishing website resembling Suomi.fi e-Identification

The scam message sent out in Kela’s name alleges that the recipient's personal health data and credit card information have been compromised. The message contains a link that takes the user to a phishing website resembling the Suomi.fi e-Identification. The site is set up to capture users’ online bank credentials and credit card information.

The message is in Finnish

If you have received the scam message:

  • Do not reply or enter the information required from you.
  • Do not click on any links included in the message.
  • If you believe that your credit card or online bank details have been stolen, contact your bank’s customer service department.

Because of security reasons, do not send any sensitive information by email.
