29.4.2026 | The number of Suomi.fi Messages users has increased by more than 800 000 users in two weeks. At the moment, 3.5 million people already use Suomi.fi Messages. This is due to a legislative amendment that entered into force in mid-April. 5.5.2026 | The Digital and Population Data Services Agency will revoke signature certificates using ECC technology from identity cards issued between 11 January 2021 and 12 March 2023. The certificates will be revoked in a mass revocation during May.
