Digital and Population Data Services Agency's different certificate types (Certificate Policy) can be found on these sites.

Certificate Policy (CP) is a document that describes in general terms the things that issuing the certificates of the Certification Authority and the relying party must be taken into account. Politics describes the intent and the practices relating to the Certificate Authority and all certificates it has issued and the parties trusting them.

The certification practice (Certification Practice Statement CPS) is a document that describes the precise level of the practices which an individual certificate has been issued. It also describes the uses of issued certificates and responsibilities of the various parties. The certification practice describes how the certificate policy is implemented.

Certificate of the PKI Disclosure Statement (PDS) is a document that gives a brief account of the granting of individual certificates of the Certification Authority (CA) and its contact information.

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency's oldest root certificate expired in December 2023

Established in 2002 by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, the oldest root certificate 'VRK Gov. Root CA', its test version 'VRK TEST Root CA' and the CA certificates (intermediate CA/sub-CA) issued by them reached the end of their planned life cycles on 18 December 2023.

Please note this if your organisation has implemented separate technical controls or functionality related to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency root or CA certification authorities, such as validity checks or revocation list searches.
