The Digital and Population Data Services Agency primarily processes all invoices electronically.

How to receive invoices from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency as a private customer:

E-invoice

All customers of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency can order their invoices as e-invoices instead of traditional paper invoices. E-invoices are an easy, safe and automatic way to receive invoices from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency to your online banking service.

The simplest way to start using e-invoices is to order them through your online banking service.

  • Make sure that you have made an agreement to receive e-invoices with your bank.
  • Your bank's online service will have a list of invoicers who are able to send e-invoices.
  • Find the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (Digi- ja väestövirasto) on the list and enter the requested identification information, i.e. your personal identity code.

OmaPosti

If you are using Posti's OmaPosti service, you can receive invoices from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency electronically through OmaPosti. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency sends invoices automatically via OmaPosti for private customers who use the service but have not ordered a separate e-invoice.

You should check that the email address entered in the service is correct and valid so that you can receive notifications about messages and invoices.

Kivra

If you are using the Kivra digital mailbox service, you can receive invoices from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency electronically through Kivra. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency sends invoices automatically to the Kivra digital mailbox service for customers who use the service but have not ordered a separate e-invoice or do not use OmaPosti.

You should check that the email address confirmed in the service is correct and valid so that you can receive notifications about messages and invoices.

Suomi.fi Messages

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency sends invoices automatically to the Suomi.fi Messages service for customers who use the service but have not ordered a separate e-invoice or do not use any of the digital services mentioned above. If you are using Suomi.fi Messages, you will no longer receive paper invoices from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.

You should check that the email address entered in the Suomi.fi Messages service is correct and valid so that you can receive notifications about messages and invoices.
