Digital Support skill badge
A digital support provider can use the exercises completed online to assess their own competence in digital skills, guidance skills and the ethical guidelines for digital support and, if they wish, apply for a skill badge to prove their competence.
The skill badge is free of charge and every digital support provider can apply for it.
Your badge application will be processed within two weeks of sending your application. You will receive information in your e-mail about the successfully completed badge or, alternatively, a request to supplement your application.
If you already have Open Badge Passport (https://openbadgepassport.com/fi), you can accept the badge as part of your own portfolio and share them with whoever you wish and when you want to.
Digital Support – Ethical Guidelines skill badge
The ethical guidelines for digital support have been compiled at the request of digital support providers. The guidelines present the obligations concerning the provider and the recipient of digital support. The objective of these guidelines is to promote safe and high-quality digital support which is carried out in mutual understanding of both parties.

Digital Support – Guidance Skills badge
You can use the Digital Support Guidance Skills badge to verify that you have a command of the guidance skills required in Digital Support. The Guidance Skills badge is awarded either on the basis of a separate application or to those who have completed the training course Skills for support providers.

First: practice and familiarise yourself with the digital skills areas.
Next: complete all 6 of the skills areas required for the Digital Skills badge for Digital Service Advisers.
Once you have successfully completed all six skills areas AND the Ethical Guidelines badge for Digital Service Advisers, you will automatically receive the Digital Skills badge for Digital Service Advisers.

You can use this badge to show that you understand the significance of linguistic and cultural awareness in guidance and integration and how to promote them as a digital support provider.
The badge encourages better consideration and recognition of the linguistic, cultural and integration needs of various different customers.
