Discontinuation of Public Service Info and continuation of advisory service on Suomi.fi services

General advisory services through Public Service Info are being discontinued on 1 January 2026. The advisory service on Suomi.fi services will take the place of Public Service Info.

This change is based on a legislative amendment that refocuses the tasks of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency and strengthens the Agency’s role in user support and advice for its digital services. 

- This change further clarifies the purpose of the service. The advisory service on Suomi.fi services will now focus clearly on user support for digital services. This helps citizens use digital services and strengthens the Agency's role in doing so, says Director Maisa Gynther of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. 

What changes in the beginning of 2026? 

• Public Service Info will no longer provide general advisory services
• New advisory service on Suomi.fi services will focus on user support
• Familiar telephone service line at 0295 000
