When you log in to a web service of an authority for the first time in 2026, after the legislation on the digital priority of official mail has come into force, a digital mailbox will be created for you in Suomi.fi Messages. After this, you will receive mail sent by public authorities primarily in digital form. More information on activating Suomi.fi Messages suomi.fi/en/messages
