The trial of the joint remote service of Suomi-piste will end in Imatra, Nurmes and Porvoo on 27 February 2026
Different authorities have participated in a trial to offer remote services to customers in Imatra, Nurmes and Porvoo since September 2025. The trial and the remote service will end in these locations on 27 February. You can continue to use the services of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency online, by phone, by email and at our other service points.
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency has participated in the remote service trial to improve customer service. The trial was organised jointly by different authorities and it began in September 2025. During the trial, customers could use a remote service in Imatra, Nurmes and Porvoo. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency offered its service using remote connections in the trial. The service will end in Imatra, Nurmes and Porvoo on Friday 27 February 2026.

- The service point closest to Imatra: Lappeenranta (Villimiehenkatu 2 B, 53100 LAPPEENRANTA)
- The service points closest to Nurmes: Joensuu (Kauppakatu 40, 80100 JOENSUU) and Kuopio (Kallanranta 11, 70100 KUOPIO)
- The service points closest to Porvoo: Helsinki (Lintulahdenkuja 2 D, 00530 HELSINKI) and Lahti (Kirkkokatu 12, 15140 LAHTI).
