Press release

In Lahti, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency is moving to new customer service facilities, in the same property.

Contrary to previous information, we will only move to new premises later in June.

In week 23, we will provide more detailed information on the new schedule and its possible impacts on our customer service in Lahti.

The previously announced closure of our customer service facilities between 5 and 9 June 2023 has been cancelled, and we will serve our customers in week 23, according to our normal schedules.

Please remember that most matters do not require a visit to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency's service location. Instead, the matter can be handled via electronic service channels or by telephone. For matters that require a visit, we recommend that you make an appointment to avoid queues.

Once the renovation of the Lahti office building has been completed, we will serve at a joint service point, with the Finnish Tax Administration, the National Land Survey of Finland, Kela, the Häme TE Office and National Enforcement Authority Finland. Joint service points are part of the reform of the government's service and premises network. The aim of the project is to bring government services requiring visits to joint service points, during the 2020s. At the same time, the use of government-owned premises will be optimised, as agencies move to shared office spaces.
