Janne Viskari, Director General
Janne Viskari is Director General of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. Under his direction, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency promotes the digitalisation and electronic services of public administration and all of Finnish society, secures the availability of data, and offers services for the life events of its customers. Before stepping into his current position, Janne Viskari served as the Director General of the Population Register Centre starting from 2017. Viskari previously served as Director of Digital Services at the Population Register Centre. In 2018 and 2019, British online service Apolitical included Viskari on its list of the 100 most influential people in digital government, and information technology trade publication Tivi named him influencer of the year in 2018 and digital business leader of the year in 2019.
