Cybercom key supplier to Finnish Population Register Centre
Cybercom Finland has won the tender competition for the Population Register Centre's project Roles & Authorisations for 2017-2021. The tender competition is based on the framework agreement of Hansel's IT consulting.
Cybercom has been involved in the National Architecture for Digital Services (KaPA) programme from the very start. The additional contract signed with the Population Register Centre further strengthens Cybercom's role as a digital services expert in the KaPA programme.
E-support services enabling reliable services on behalf on another person, company or organisation will be implemented through the Roles & Authorisations programme.
"We are happy with our cooperation with Cybercom and with being able to continue with them in the KaPA programmes. The role and authorisation service combines the information in official registers, which provide the right to grant authorisations and are maintained by various authorities, and the new power of attorney register which is to be created. This information will then be available to electronic services and processing systems. These services will be visible to many Finns, such as families with children, when the parents use the service on behalf of their children”, says Janne Viskari, Director at the Population Register Centre.
Cybercom has played a key role in developing services and identifying service prospects required by citizens, companies, and authorities. Cybercom will continue in these projects, too, worth several million euro to Cybercom.
"We will continue playing an important role in the KaPA project. Our cooperation with the Population Register Centre has been successful, and the skills of our team of experts in developing digital services are first-class. We at Cybercom are excited about our continued involvement in building sustainable digital solutions for public administration in Finland – solutions which serve the Finns long into the future and make it easier for individuals to get service from the authorities,” says Veli-Matti Nurminen, Managing Director of Cybercom Finland.
