72 trainees working at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency this summer – more to be selected for autumn
A total of 72 trainees are working at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV) this summer. The trainees are engaged in a wide range of tasks across different parts of the agency. They are higher education students from various fields and are working in 11 different locations.
During the rest of the year, DVV will recruit additional trainees. This is made possible by additional funding provided by the Ministry of Finance, with the aim of offering traineeships to students under the age of 25.
For the traineeships later in the year, suitable candidates will primarily be selected from among those who applied in the spring. In the spring recruitment round, DVV received a total of 5,837 applications.
Trainees contribute to a wide range of DVV’s services
A traineeship at DVV typically lasts three months and often takes place during the summer months. It offers an opportunity to gain insight into working in public administration through the agency’s diverse tasks.
This summer, trainees are working, among other things, in DVV’s customer service, communications and marketing, guardianship services, population data services, digitalisation support services, finance, human resources and case management.
The trainees represent a wide range of academic fields, including social sciences, law and public administration, humanities, and business studies, from several Finnish and international higher education institutions.
This summer, trainees are working at DVV’s offices in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa, Lahti, Joensuu, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Pori, Jyväskylä and Kuopio.
