Press release

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s service location in Lahti will be reformed into a joint service point in June 2023. The operations will continue in the same facilities as before, but several government agencies will serve in the reformed customer service facilities in the future.

From Wednesday, 28 June 2023 onwards in Lahti, we will serve you at the address Kirkkokatu 12 (main entrance) at the same customer service point as the Finnish Tax Administration, the National Land Survey of Finland, Kela, the Häme TE Office and the National Enforcement Authority Finland. Appointments are available already for Tuesday, 27 June 2023.

Our in-person customer service is open in Lahti on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 12:00. More appointments available by booking.

Most matters do not require a visit to a Digital and Population Data Services Agency service location and can be handled through electronic service channels or the telephone service instead.
If your matter requires a visit to our service location, we recommend that you book an appointment in advance. That way, you avoid queues.

The Lahti office building’s renovation and joint service points are part of the renewal of the central government service and premises network. The aim of the project is to centralise central government in-person services to joint service points during the 2020s. At the same time, the central government’s use of premises will be made more efficient as agencies move to shared office spaces.
