Changes to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s service times and locations

The number of service locations of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency has changed from 1 July onward. The service times of the current service locations have also changed partially.

You can find up-to-date information on the dvv.fi website, on the service locations’ pages. 

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency provides services nationwide, mainly online or by telephone. Only certain things require a visit to one of our service locations. You may visit the most suitable service location for you, regardless of where you live. 

If you need to make an appointment to visit, we recommend that you book one in advance for the service you want. Our electronic appointment system will show you the free times for all services available at the service location that you need to visit. If you cannot make a reservation online, you can request a reservation via the telephone service. 

Weddings in service locations and elsewhere 

Changes to service locations also affect the wedding days offered by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. Available wedding dates are easiest to find in the appointment system. 

You can also enquire about booking an officiator at the bridal couples’ preferred location in the future as well. This is subject to a fee. You can find additional information on weddings outside service locations at: dvv.fi/en/marriage-ceremony.
