The Browser-based VTJkysely application uses a two-step login process.
The login options are:
1. A certificate card issued by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency and PIN
2. (a) username, password, and a one-time code from an authenticator app, OR
(b) username, password, and a one-time code from a software token.
The authenticator app is downloaded to a smartphone. The authenticator app ought to be an app developed by a trusted third party, such as Google or Microsoft. Please contact your organisation's IT support for any questions related to your smartphone or authenticator app.
Alternatively, the two-step login can be performed using a programmable MFA (software token) device that supports the TOTP standard. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency does not provide guidance or support on the implementation or use of the MFA device. Verification of log-in is done on a separate device.
It is up to the employer to decide which login method is used in the organisation, or whether multiple login methods are allowed.
