On the Personal data page of Suomi.fi Web Service, you can log in to check what personal data has been recorded on you in the Population Information System and update your data.
On the Personal data page of Suomi.fi Web Service, you can log in to check what personal data has been recorded on you in the Population Information System and update your data.
You will find information such as your name and address on the Personal data page. For example, you can check whether the new name or address you have notified has already been updated in the Population Information System. You can also check when you have made changes to your personal data.
It is now also possible to update some of your personal data in the Population Information System on the Personal data page. You can submit the following:
- non-disclosure of address details for advertising purposes, for example
- resignation from a religious community
- your profession and email address
- your native language and communication language (if other than Finnish or Swedish)
If your native language is Sámi, you can also specify the language. You will find all of the Sámi languages in the menu of the service.
