Digital support at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency

We at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency support and train digital support actors, research digital support and competence, and develop common digital support practices.  We want to develop and strengthen a digitally skilled Finland.

In our work, we implement the Digital Support operating model (in Finnish) prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance.

Examine how digital support and competence needs are changing in society

We commit ourselves to producing and compiling researched information on digital competence and digital support needs.  With the help of researched information, digital support actors can better target and anticipate the provision of digital support.

We are committed to guiding and supporting the work of digital support actors on the basis of researched data with justified and effective recommendations. We ensure that the digital support network has up-to-date expertise in providing digital support. We are committed to developing the competence and practices of digital support providers together with actors. We promise to support digital support providers in developing the accessibility of digital support and guidance to the service between actors.

Influence by communicating and creating partnerships

We promise to communicate in a focus-driven manner, with expertise and a broad-scoped approach on topical digital support phenomena and good practices. We promise to build strategic partnerships with different actors in society so that we can make digital support more effective together. We also promise to develop the impact of our services and to maintain our own competence.

Our operations are based on network and stakeholder cooperation. Trust and appreciation between digital support actors are essential in this work. Human-centred development of digital support that meets needs requires strong partnerships, continuous dialogue and network-like work between actors.
